After a picturesque beach proposal for Brent and Hailey, it was straight into planning for these two. Eventually they decided to do a reverse destination wedding in the background of the effortlessly elegant Le Sol House in the Bishop Arts District of Dallas, TX. The home itself has been carefully curated with custom design moments and vintage pieces to create a je ne sais quoi aesthetic. It offers an old soul feeling with a modern day twist. The design brief for this couple was to elevate the backyard into a space honoring the significance of a wedding ceremony. After sharing multiple images back-and-forth on a shared vision board, it was decided to focus the floral design on a stunning ceremony moment. The 30 foot aisle was lined with baby's breath and a half arch defined the alter. The backyard was transformed into a beautiful atmosphere fit for a true love story. The abundance of baby's breath in a free-form style embodied the feeling of being on a heavenly cloud. It embraced the couple in a symbolic gesture of all the prayers of their friends and family who joined them to celebrate. After the ceremony, during the guests happy hour, the baby's breath was moved to outline the dance floor. It really was a different take on how a floral budget can be used in non-traditional ways to compliment a space.
