Weddings create opportunities for new experiences. For A & H, they embarked on a floral journey that highlighted the summer season and celebrated their love amidst the artistic wonders of the Crystal Bridges Art Museum. In this blog post, we explore the enchanting world of utilizing local blooms, showcasing how they can add a touch of natural beauty to your wedding at this iconic museum.

  1. Summer Splendor with Lush Florals: Diving into the richness of summer with an array of lush blooms such as cosmos, scabiosa, delphinium, lisianthus and ranunculus (to name a few), the florals for this wedding highlighted the artisanal local flowers available in the Northwest Arkansas area. These bountiful flowers were woven into a stunning ceremony floral nest, bride's bouquet and bud vases, infusing the wedding with the warmth and vibrancy of the season.

  2. The Tulip Tree Structure and Floral Ceremony Nest: With over 120 acres on the ground of this gorgeous museum, there are an array of natural and artful options that are an ideal backdrop for a modern ceremony. The Tulip Tree structure was the perfect spot to tie the knot for A & H. Hosting beautiful curved architecture with natural stone floors and the forest as a backdrop, the floral nest curated a ceremony focal point of fairytale delight.

  3. Collaboration with Local Farmers: At Earth & Thorn our goal is to partner with local farms as much as possible for our blooms. It is a great way to boost our sustainability practices. Most of all, we love local blooms because there is texture and natural variations that add such warmth and depth. For this wedding's reception, every single bloom was grown in the area.

  4. Intimate Reception at 21C Bentonville: The wedding guests moved from the gorgeous grounds of Crystal Bridges to the luxurious 21C Hotel in Bentonville. Dining under modern art pieces on long family style tables, the reception combined intimacy with artistry. An abundant amount of bud vases lined the table with taper candles and fine linens.

As you plan your wedding, let the seasons guide your floral choices, creating a harmonious blend of nature and art. Whether it's the vibrant hues of spring, the lush abundance of summer, the rustic elegance of autumn, or the serene beauty of winter, your chosen blooms will weave a story that complements the breathtaking surroundings of your chosen venue. Elevate your celebration with the magic of seasonal florals, making your wedding an artistic masterpiece.
